Huro Data Consulting brings together two seasoned principals with complementary expertise spanning finance, M&A, technology, data, cyber-security, and programme delivery — with over 40 years of combined C-suite experience delivered across three continents.
Our Approach
The best consulting comes from people who have held the roles they advise on. We have both. Between us we have served as CEO, CFO, CIO, and CISO — founded and listed a company on the AIM market, led M&A transactions across multiple sectors, delivered major technology programmes, and managed risk at board level.
We work with a small number of clients at any time, which means every engagement receives genuine partner-level attention. We do not hand off to junior teams. We show up, take accountability, and deliver.

Roger Bullen

He has held CEO and CFO roles, led M&A due diligence and integration programmes, and advised boards on financial strategy, capital structure, and operational transformation. His core strengths span strategic operations, business development, people leadership, M&A, and financial management.
Roger brings board-level financial and operational credibility to every engagement — whether advising on an acquisition, acting as fractional CFO, or leading an organisational transformation programme.
Hugh Cox

He is a CISSP-certified information security professional and experienced CIO, CDO, and CISO with deep expertise in cloud computing, data management, analytics, information security, and fraud prevention.
Previous roles include Founder, Director and CIO at Rosslyn Data Technologies; COO Investments EMEA at Citigroup Private Bank; and senior positions at Perot Systems, JP Morgan, and Logica. He has led large-scale technology programmes across financial services, media, legal, and healthcare. Hugh is a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Information Technologists and a Member of the British Computer Society.
Hugh holds a BSc in Computer Science and an MBA from Bayes Business School (formerly City University Business School), London. He advises boards on technology strategy, data governance, cyber security, and programme delivery.
Most recently, Hugh founded MyDomainRisk — an external security intelligence platform that operationalises the domain risk assessment practice at the core of our cyber advisory work. It reflects the same conviction that underpins everything we do: that genuine expertise means being able to build the solution, not just describe it.
